Our bed is finally dry!!! While we were engaged Oliver stained our bed so that it would match the rest of our furniture...only one problem...
he forgot to wipe off the stain after he put it on and it sat in a freezing cold garage for 3 weeks while we were out of town. In order to fix it we would have had to haul it all the way back to Farmington and redo the entire process. We chose the much more annoying process and slept on a wet bed for 4 months, but it is dry now! On our first night together in our apartment we slept perpendicular to the bed so that my hair wouldn't get stuck to the headboard.
I was excited to unwrap all of our new bedding today and try it on our bed. It looks really good. You can't tell from the pics because the lighting was weird...so you all need to come and see it in person (even you Mia)! Now if I could find an apartment friendly solution to that nasty window in the background! Let me know if you have any ideas...

Mia says: I love the bedding! I will be there to see it in a few weeks! One idea for the window treatment is a roman shade or a asian screen.
