It's Over

Our biggest weekend of the year is successfully over. We finished working at 2am early this morning (don't worry our employees went home at 10:30pm), and I slept all day today. I still feel a little bit like I got run over by a bus, but Oliver took me to Nielsen's Frozen Custard this evening...so all is beautiful and right again. Some highlights {or should I say entertaining incidents} from the weekend are: The Cat Fight that took place right in front of the Souvenir Stand (which actually ended up being good publicity), meeting a little boy whose name was Chevy, and watching my cute husband walk up and down the grandstands yelling "Checkered Flags $2." Lately I have been thinking about our life and what we do for money, and I can't help but laugh out loud. I am sure that we will be grateful later.

I laugh while I work for money but you guys are certainly driven. Now is the time for that because when the kids come you have to be more philisophical about THINGS because you won't have them anymore!

Carly, I am seriously so impressed with all these things you are doing. My mom drove by your knew car wash dwelling this morning and we were both saying how impressed we are with how hard you are both working...many people just go to school and live off of who knows what...all your hard work is really going to pay off and what a strong couple you will for making all these sacrifices, not to mention truly teaching your future kids how to work. PS you can babysit ANYTIME!! How about now...I am exhausted.

Sweeeeet Truck! haha. I have a deeper love for RMR than I ever have, it's NEVER boring working there. I will have to hear details on the cat fight i'm sure it's hilarious as is most everything the people say and do at RMR! I agree... you two work really hard for your money. Kudos to you two!

Just think of all the memories you are gathering and just think about that really nice house you will have someday. It's refreshing to see young people so motivated.
