We had a fun Labor Day Weekend, and we filled it to the brim. We spent time with family, friends, and each other. On Saturday afternoon we went up to Swiss Days in Midway with Holly and Ty. I was really excited, because I had a faint memory of going there when I was young and partaking of all the delicious treats, and seeing all of the beautifully made handcrafts. As we walked into the festival like premises I knew I was going to be disappointed, because this was the first thing I saw:
Not only did they have Swiss Tacos, but they had also had Swiss Ice (which was actually a Hush Puppy). I found it interesting, because last time I was in Switzerland I did not see a single taco or a Hush Puppy -- not even once. Ty was lured into the fancy marketing and bought the $7 Navajo {"Swiss"} Taco, but as an act of defiance (and because the line was short) I opted for Strawberries and Cream instead. Overall, the day was fun...and the drive was beautiful, so I can't complain.

Next year I want to go so that I can buy nightgowns for my grand daughters from "Little Lady Lingerie'!!!
Swiss Days was an experience that I think we're going to pass on next year. I always have fun with Ozzy and Car, but I swear it that shindig was a money making trap.
But Ty wasn't your $7.00 Swiss Taco worth the money trap? LOL
