We went on a day trip to Guano yesterday. It is a sleepy little town about 10 minutes away from Riobamba. We perused the local leather/shoe shops, watched the locals make rugs out of Alpaca fur, had a Coke in a cafe, and hiked up one of the nearby mountains. It was nice to be somewhere clean for a change, kinda felt like home.

On a lighter note, the words "I remember this one time when I forgot my middle name..." just came out of Oliver's mouth. Sealed together for eternity, I love it.

Keep Oliverisms coming, he may rival Ike and Rex and Lucy and Brighton. Carly, check my blog for some sad but timely news. We miss you, especially at this time. I really wanted to talk to you. I found out about Pres. Hinckley's death just 5 minutes after I hung up from our phone conversation.
Oliver, Oliver, I love it. Just don't let him forget your name. Carly!! It is so fun to hear from you half way around the world! Your pictures are beautiful! Let me just say, i have not even touched my blog until two days ago. My friends made us one in july or whatever month you said, and we didn't even begin this madness until we left. You my friend need not feel neglected. you are the reason i am blogging
HAHAH!! Yes...we sure do miss you guys. Our weekend was not as enjoyable. Love the buildings that looks like a fun town.
