The women in South America do EVERYTHING. Seriously, she is probably peeling potatoes and nursing a baby while carrying this massive water tank 10 miles to her house.
Hey Carly I noticed on Facebook you added us which led me to your blog. You two are so amazing to be dedicating so much time and energy into serving others. The pictures make me melt with tears not feeling sad, but just very humbling. Thank you for sharing your experience it has really helped me start thinking what I can do to really help others.
What is in that container! My first thought when I saw this picture was, Herniated disc, pinched nerve pain! Oh I am thankful I dont have to do that also!
Hi Carly, this is Bill Payne. Could you please bring her back with you so she can teach american women how to be a good wife....:)I really look forward to shaking the carwash late at night when you and Oliver return. See ya soon, B.P.
wow that is amazing! How many gallons is that? I just finished reading your last post, I'm so glad you broke it down b/c I have been wondering what you are doing specifically on a day to day basis. You guys are my heroes how awesome to take advantage of such a great opportunity. keep up the good work, oh and lol about feeding her baby and peeling potatoes.
What in the h#@$? I had to sit and stare at this picture for a few minutes to figure out what the heck it was. Are you serious. The women actually do that? Are we spoiled in the US or what? And I complain when I have to walk across the room to get the remote! Are you having fun Car? You seem like your eyes have been opened....really wide. I know mine would be just from seeing you pictures!

I am pretty sure you could do it though chuck
Oh man that looks horrible...do the women have a shorter life span than the men? What are the men doing while their women are hauling water?

WOW!!! In response to Billie I'd have to say no way could ANY MAN do that! Women in other countries are so strong, and do so much that it is humbling.
Wow--puts my complaining about having to carry my own grocery bags home in perspective.
