Sure they don't wear underwear, smell like urine, have snotty noses, dirty hands, and you wonder if you are going to contract typhoid when you touch them. But sometimes, I just can't help but cuddle these babes. When everything in Ecuador seems like it is falling apart and I desperately want to go home, I just look at these little ones and all of my doubts go away. It is weird to think that they won't remember me, but once they were a part of my life.

This last photo was taken by Oliver, he is getting pretty good.
{Wawa is Quichua for baby. Quichua is the language that the indigenous speak.}

my favorite photo is oliver's. Great colors.
All babies change you. They often have snotty noses and smell like urine in America, specifically, Kaysville too!! Heart-melting.
Thanks for the translation at the bottom! okay the snot is kind of gross...but I love their eyes!
oh my gosh those eyes are to die for! btw how are you so amazing at photography? class? or just intuitive talent?
You better get home quick and start making some wawas of your own!
Those eyes are incredible and just grab you. I bet they will never forget you and Oliver. I want my wawa to hurry home.
Ohh Those pictures are great. Wawas have a way to get to your heart!
Way to go, Ozzy!!! Carly, I love your blog! And I'm sure they will remember you. That crazy gringa who always wore pants!!! :)
Okay, so the one with the booger made me throw up a little in my mouth, but the pic is amazing!!! See ya soon!!
