Cape Town

Cape Town was gorgeous!  I loved the coast in South Africa.  Unfortunately we didn't get to see Table Mountain because it was covered in clouds the entire time (huge bummer).

The first day we took the tram up the Table Top Mountain and walked around downtown.

View of Cape Town from the base of Table Mountain.

Me and Jim Vosburgh at the base of Table Mountain.

At the top of Table Mountain, this view was just named one of the seven wonders of the world... and we couldn't see it because it was in the clouds.

Downtown Cape Town... again, no Table Top Mountain.  I could tell it was glorious though.

Our hotel right behind us.

The second day we went out to Robben Island.

Me and Jim on the ferry.

Entrance to Robben Island Jail.

Robben Island is super interesting because all of the tour guides are former inmates.  Our tour guide was incarcerated for bombing a government building.  He served with Nelson Mandela.

On the coast of Robben Island.  Our children have no hope when it comes to foreheads or calves.

The following day we went to the wine country and visited Speir Wine Estates.  It was beautiful, but not great for people who don't drink.
