Kruger National Park - Kapama Game Reserve

After Cape Town we extended our trip with a small group of friends.  We took a flight north to Kapama Game Reserve right outside of Kruger National Park.  It was an awesome and charming safari lodge.  Everything about it was fantastic.

When you go to a game reserve, they have a set schedule.  5am wake up, 5:30-7:30a game drive, breakfast, 3:00p snacks and drinks, 4:30-6:30p game drive, and then dinner.  We stayed for 3 days and we had a ball!

Our game driver, Jani.  Dave had a major crush on her because of her off-loading skills.  He wrote her a few ridiculous poems and gave them to her with our tip on the last night... it was hilarious.

Sun-downers - We had a break during our evening drive where we would watch the sunset.  Just after this photo a crocodile crawled out of the water right where we were standing.

Hippos out of the water.  Our land cruiser broke down in between 6 hippos out of the water and 2 rhinos on the other side.  The boys had to get out and push start the cruiser.  I nearly had a heart attack.
