Two Months

2 Month Well Check: 11 lbs 5 oz and 23.43 inches.

Dear Davis-

This past month has been so fun.  I have never felt so much joy and been so content.  I started to get the hang of things at one month.  You have really started to show your sweet, happy personality and you have started sleeping at night more (!!!).  You now sleep 6-7 hours the first stretch of night and then go back to sleep for 3 more hours.  We have started to get into the swing of things and your schedule is starting to get more predictable.

We have gotten out of the house more and we have enjoyed taking you hiking every Sunday.  Your first outing was to Nordstrom (you've actually been there more than anywhere else) and I'm now feeling confident enough to juggle you and my errands.

You love laying on your changing pad and kicking.  You have started  talking, cooing, and giggling a lot.  You love it when we give you kisses, tickle your cheeks, or sing songs to you.

I have loved this stage and I get a pit in my stomach every time I think about how quickly you are growing.  I wish I could freeze time.  You are growing so fast, you are almost out of all of your 3 month clothes and are now into 3-6 month clothes.  I'm really nervous that you are not going to fit into your blessing outfit.

Your hair just keeps getting longer and longer and crazier and crazier.

Hiking up by Fernwood.

Oliver was so tired one morning from being up all night with the baby that he accidentally wore 2 different shoes to work.  He didn't notice until about 2pm.

Baby Bea cuddling you right before she tried to shove you off of the couch.

Tummy time.

Amazon asked Oliver to go and meet with them in Seattle.  We went and stayed with Momo and Papa while he was a gone.  Maeve and Brad were staying with them too.  We had morning snuggles with Papa and Miles and Momo loved getting up with Davis during the night.

We spent Easter at the cabin with the Youngs.  You love Aunt Kell.

Things I don't want to forget about this month: the way you grin at me when I get you out of your crib, your chubby chin, that Bea Bop calls you Baby Carly, every time your dad sees you he says "Isn't he the best!", and your sleep smiles.

What a great post. You are such a good mom already.

I need to see him again because he has changed so much.
