Saturday August 11 & Sunday August 12 is Clash of the Titans XI (Monster Trucks) at Rocky Mountain Raceways. This event includes such trucks as: Grave Digger, Spider Man, Bearfoot, Monster Trakker...etc and as a result we will be selling all things monster trucks. We need help these two nights, and lots of it. In addition to our regular trailer we will be setting up tables and canopies all along the berm. So if you would like to come out and work for us for a night or two we would greatly appreciate it...YOU WILL BE COMPENSATED FOR YOUR TIME AND EFFORT. Beyond the monetary compensation, I can promise you the following: a venue that is the mecca for people watching, I will personally buy each of you a Churro, you will be amazed at how fiscally irresponsible most people are, you will feel blessed that your parents actually took the time to take you to the dentist and/or orthodontist, and you will have the opportunity to have conversations with some very interesting people. Now I know that most of you are LDS, and strong members of the church at that...but we would really appreciate anyone who is willing to work on Sunday too {sorry Mom}. Oliver and I are speaking in our ward on that Sunday {August 12}, so you are more than welcome to come to church with us and then head out to the track afterwards. This is the only Sunday that we will work the entire year. If you are interested in helping us out either night please let us know, leave a comment, email us, or give us a call. We will be there to hear your talks but we have adult Stake Conference Mtg. on Sat. and will be getting ready for my school retreat which is early Monday morning.
The Bischoff Bunch would love to help out (Especially Easton...I think he might have his selling techniques down now!)but, due to minor transportation/out of state issues we will be unable to! It is so fun! I encourage everyone to help out! You will have a fun and interesting experience! We love Rocky Mountain Raceway!
Carly Simon... I would love to help out... I really would. It sounds fun, but I will be in Germany then. Another time perhaps? And I am not kidding about that. Maybe I will meet my future EC(Eternal Companion)at The Rocky Mountain Raceway. LOL
Carly, it sounds like such fun..I think it might be a little early to expose a new baby to such crazies! I would love to come see what all this raceway stuff is all about sometime though!!

Well, Carly, this sounds just fascinating. And being the non-Mormon that I am, I'm more than willing to help you out Sunday! I can't Saturday because of a prior commitment to a reggae show I'm quite excited about, but if you still need to fill a spot on Sunday, call me. I went to Reno to help a friend with an auto/heavy equipment auction last summer. It was an amazing crowd. I'm sure this will be much the same.
