We finally made a decision, flights are booked, reservations are made, scuba lessons are scheduled...we are going to Costa Rica Oct. 27th-Nov.3. I simply cannot wait. We are headed down south with Ty & Holly and Maeve & Brad. I have already made a list of all the volcanoes, beaches, cities, rivers, national forests, turtle reserves, climbs, and cathedrals that I want to visit. We are staying at The Sanctuary, and I plan on devoting at least one day to kayaking it's tree-lined river that ends at the mouth of the beach.Photo found on flickr

That's right, I cannot wait to get the flip out of here for our escape! Costa Rica here I come! I'm totally pumped ditch the laptop, cell phone, and all of my accounts for the week. Borrow Holly's scuba equipment for your classes. I cannot wait to get on the airplane!
YAY! I had the best time in Costa Rica! I totally recommend a guided walking tour of Manuel Antonio National Park, if you're on the west coast. I never would have seen one sloth, let alone THREE, without our awesome guide who learned English by watching tv!
I am excited for all of you. This could be a trip of a life time. I love that you are going with family!
It's going to be a partaaay!!! I'm so ready to explore Costa Rica and I'm so glad you have already done some research. Did you read www.tripadvisor.com yet? It was nice to see some of the other guests comments and suggestions for the place we're staying at and the general area. We're going to have a ball!

Oh....I see how this works now. When the family gets so big you have to have two options for vacations. Disneyland with kids and a Costa Rica Adventure. Hmmm....which one would I choose ? Both sound fabulous and I love that the OTHER HALF has planned their own adventure together. I love reading all your stories...
