Oliver has had horrible vision for some time now. This year he decided to get Lasik Eye Surgery. This is big, because anyone who knows Oliver, knows that the only thing on earth that he is terrified of is something touching his eye. He didn't sleep for a week before the procedure.
On the day of the procedure Oliver went to the Doctor's office to get Lasik done; only they couldn't fit the machine in his eye socket {apparently he has small sockets}, so he had to have PRK instead. Which means they melt your eye away with acid and then correct your vision. Needless to say he was blind and in horrific pain for 5 days and had to sleep with sunglasses on.
Ty took this photo of him while he was babysitting him. It was really sad at the time, but it is kinda funny now. Poor Oliver.

Neil (my husband) recently had PRK too. Where did Oliver have his done? Is he happy that he did it?
You're right, it is kind of a funny story now. Why didn't someone call me to babysit him!
That is one of the worst things I have ever heard! By the way, what kind of camera do you have? I know it is a Nikon but what model or whatever you call it?
McCall - it was awful for about a month...but now it is great!
